The Number 1 Mistake Business Owners Make Is Not Commissioning A Brief

A good brief is critical so you don’t waste thousands of pounds in fees.

You don’t write briefs for architects as your day job so we expect to write one for you.

We work with you to find out what is really going on.

👉The brief writing process starts with mapping your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

For example, you may find there are potential threats from the decarbonisation of the grid and changes to the types of energy that will be available in the future.

There may be opportunities to reorganise your space and make it work better for you or to expand and gain more space.

Take a look at my interview with Camilla Schneiderman, the Managing Director of Leiths School of Food and Wine on our website under videos.

We chatted about how we:

1. Helped them develop a brief
2. Reviewed the premises and assess options for improvements and expansion
3. Created a new teaching kitchen and dining area for their clients
4. Designed a new bespoke table for 12 people in a very tight space
5. Obtained planning permission
6. Managed the construction

The project solved problems the teaching staff were having and created a cool, modern new space for their clients.

The ultimate goal of your brief is to help you identify what both your staff and clients want, what will help your business thrive, and how to maximise your return on investment.

Do you need help with writing your brief?
